MASA's Mix & Mingle For the Love of Education

MASA’s 1st Annual Mix & Mingle For the Love of Education is a unique fundraising event, combining a cocktail party with a Valentine’s themed raffle and art auction at Casa Mezcal, the enchanting Oaxacan cultural center in the heart of Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Occupying three levels on bustling Orchard Street, this restaurant and mezcal bar serves delicious Mexican fare, hosts visiting Latin American musicians and displays art from all over the world.
MASA’s Mix & Mingle brings together NYC young professionals and members of the New York Mexican and Latino community to support MASA’s educational programs. The evening will feature a cocktails, hors d’ oeuvres from some of the best Mexican restaurants in the city and a Valentine’s Day Raffle. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on a fabulous silent art auction.
100% of the proceeds from MASA’s Mix & Mingle For the Love of Education will support the expansion of MASA’s educational programs in the South Bronx and beyond. MASA offers a range of programs in service of its mission of transforming communities through education.

MASA provides academic resources to underserved youth of Mexican descent living in New York City. The organization operates a mentorship and after-school program for elementary school students at a community center in Mott Haven.
